We played our first show at Quaker Steak and Lube on a Saturday night in August of 2006. Back then there was no outside stage and no “Bike Night”. Saturday night was dubbed “Blues Night” and we played inside with the big roller doors open. It was hot, but it was fun! Over the years as we grew, so did “The Lube” and together we took part in many great events and helped to benefit many worthy causes. We always welcomed our musical friends to the stage, some just starting out, some seasoned performers, and ALL were appreciated by the kind crowd that The Lube attracted. It was a friend and family place that always had room for everyone. So long QUAKER STEAK AND LUBE! Enjoy the flyers!
20 YEARS!
How do you keep a band together with the same 3 guys for 20 years? Friendship, that's how. You've got to like each other. We played steadily from 2005 through 2012. And, like with every gig we played, you have to know when it's time to take a break. After playing The Inglewood on Dececmber 15, 2012 we took that break.

2025 marks 20 YEARS since we formed the band. First gig as Rockus Band was "Bike Night at The Biff Burger" - 11/09/05. Soon after, the website "rockusband.com" was up and we were off and running...
Say It Ain't So, Joe!
Mr Joe’s Off The Beach has been a regular gig for us since 2018. Many Benefits and Poker Runs. All good things must come to an end and so, after almost 6 years he is closing his doors.
Joe has always been generous to THE ROCKUS BAND and we will miss playing his place! See you around, Joe!

WE'LL NEED A NEW THERAPIST!
Well after almost FOUR YEARS one of our favorite places to play has been sold. THE LIQUID THERAPY BAR has been a Rockus staple since our first gig there, Thursday, December 6th 2018. Since then there have been many Thursday Night Bike Nights, Friday Night Car Shows, Fun in the Sun-days and various others special events that we have been proud to be a part of. Thank you Dennis and Crystal Hentschel for being great hosts and to all the “Therapists” that have been part of our therapy over the years we say “OUR SESSIONS HAVE ENDED AND WE HAVE MADE PROGRESS!”

Thursday at the Dog and Parrot we had the opportunity to be part of a fundraiser to help a young Covid survivor CLAIRE BRIDGES, who had her legs amputated due to complications from the virus. Please support her cause and contact 50 LEGS for more information!
